my asusmption is that "a lake michigan" is something or someone you pride, r hold very close to you, appreciate immensley, etc. i get this more from the braid song "lining lake michigan" though, a song about losing someone that says something like.. "Now I'm screaming because I can't talk to you... What was once my lake michigan is now a dismal hole" There ya go, maybe.
Yes. He lived by Lake Michigan when he was in Chicago. Like in the verson of 'This Could Be Love" he sings about a bunch of bodies of water by where he used to live, like a creek, Berkley Marina, and Lake Michigan. Anyways, it's just that he used to live by Lake Michigan.
OK the real story on this song is that it was on the chicago album but it is also going to be on the good mourning album but only on the UK release of the CD
