might just be the best song on this awesome album. this dude's voice is pretty frickin talented. i just love the sound of this song. its simply amazing.

to be honest it's not really his voice that really blows me away because i mean he's a good singer and all but he's not spectacular. I mean like Adam from TBS and the guy from the used, thursday those guys are all wicked singers but he's just incredibel what he does with what he has. I mean just how he writes the melody it's almost like its another intrument flowing all over the place. It's really goood in that sense, like he doesnt seem to just fall back on obvious vocal patterns. But anyways. this song is a great one, i love the intro verse. I think it's about an ex maybe that still totally controls him. BUt hes trying not to let her. cool.

Northstar are amazing. I saw them 2 nights ago with Armor for Sleep (who are also amazing - check them out) and they put on an awesome show. Unfortunately, not alot of people were really really into it like me and my friends, but the Singer (Nick Torres) really put it on for us. He's the man. This is one of my favorite songs, and probably my favorite on the cd. I agree with 'Action and Action' about the meaning.

Yeah I would agree that it's not really his voice but his phrasing and melody. When I first heard Northstar I didn't like the singing because he doesn't annunciate his words very clearly, but I've grown to absolutely love it. Northstar to me seems to be a little less about the lyrics and more about the ambiance. That's not to say that the lyrics are bad at all - I think this song is absolutely incredible, as well as practically all of their others - but the way their singer finds his melody patterns is phenominal. I see some big things for these guys in the future.

yea defiantely. these guys are incredible. Actually if you read the TBS booklet for Tell All Your Friends in there somewhere it says NORTHSTAR IS THE BEST BAND EVER.
