First of all, Breaking Benjamin is an awesome band and I love them; they never dissapoint me. Now, talking about the song, in my opinion Forever is an Impossible Love song. Why? Jugde for yourself:

Do you know I could never leave you? And I know I could never beat you (She already knows about his feelings for her and he's reminding her that he would never leave her, He knows that she will never be his enemy and will never fight with her 'cause he loves her)

And I find, I can never find you Nevermind, I will not forget you (He realizes that she will never be for him, He doesn't care at all, but he'll never forget her)

Can I feel a chemical reaction? Cause I found a hideous attraction (He begins to feel something for her, He secretly is in love with her)

Can we share a poison apple? Can it be maniacle and awful (He wants to stay with her to death, He wouldn't care how cruel the life can be with him, just by staying with her everything's alright for him)

Alright, this is my interpretation of this song, and I interpretated it this way because everytime I hear it reminds me of an impossible love I have. If you don't like my interpretation, I don't really care n_n, after all it's MY interpretation. Have a nice day!

I think a lot of people have it wrong, I dont think its to do with dying. I think it's about a relationship, where the girl makes him feel so alive, he wants to feel like that forever. Idk :)

It's a beautiful song. It's, in my opinion, about being in love.

This song is obviously talking about death

The lines

He is talking about how he can not escape death no matter what he does. He is pleading, begging death to stay alive. If anyone knows the story behind Ben Burnley, he has many phobias, and I'm sure dying is one of them.

I'm sorry, but this song IS NOT A LOVE SONG!!!! I can not express how much i hate when people call every song they hear a love song. I'm all up for open interpretation, but this song is clearly straight forward if you listen to the lyrics close enough.

this is about a boy that is in love with his female fren.. he knows he cant get her probably coz she's in love with another .. he knows he cares too much for this fren.. he can never get past her . he's unhurt yet coz he still feels alive.. he wont mind how she feels , coz he cannot forget her (Do you know I could never leave you? This song is really amazing, they did a really good job witht his cd.

I believe he is singing about someone dying in a relationship and the love is so strong that he wants to die too. When he asks if he wants to stay alive forever he basicaly is asking if can he die too.

I've cried listening to this song. I must have listened to it at least 50 times. Beautiful! Ben's voice tears me up.

this song is so amazingly beautiful, wow. i'm not too sure what it's about... losing someone (one way or the other) almost as soon as you have found them... wishing to stay alive forever so you can find them again... i dunno. this song makes me sad though
