He puts the needle on the vein
And invites the music in
Between neck and forearm
The melody settles quietly into the bone
(Go! Go! Go!) Bop bop shu bop (Go! Go! Go!)
He has closed his eyes
In his blood rages a battle
An army marches through his gut
The intestines slowly warm up
(Go! Go! Go!) Bop bop shu bop (Go! Go! Go!)
(Go! Go! Go!) Bop bop shu bop (Go! Go! Go!)
Nothing is for you
Nothing was for you
Nothing stays for you
For always
Nothing is for you
Nothing was for you
Nothing stays for you
For always
He takes the needle from the vein
The melody goes out of the skin
Fiddles burn with shrieks
Harps cut into the flesh
He opened his eyes
But he did not wake up
Nothing is for you
Nothing was for you
Nothing stays for you
For always
Nothing is for you
Nothing was for you
Nothing stays for you
For always
And invites the music in
Between neck and forearm
The melody settles quietly into the bone
In his blood rages a battle
An army marches through his gut
The intestines slowly warm up
(Go! Go! Go!) Bop bop shu bop (Go! Go! Go!)
Nothing was for you
Nothing stays for you
For always
Nothing is for you
Nothing was for you
Nothing stays for you
For always
The melody goes out of the skin
Fiddles burn with shrieks
Harps cut into the flesh
He opened his eyes
But he did not wake up
Nothing was for you
Nothing stays for you
For always
Nothing is for you
Nothing was for you
Nothing stays for you
For always

It is obviously about Herion, this seems to be correct because herion is known to give you constipation really bad and cause halluciantions.
He puts the needle inside the vein (There goes the herion)
Asks the music to come in (Herion usually lightens the mind, in Tills case maybe music would let him rest)
Between his throat and forearm (The inside bend of the arm (usually were you shoot up) or possibly his heart)
The melody goes softly through the bones (He has the sweet feeling on the drug taking place)
He has his eyes closed (Then the hallucinations come)
In his blood a battle rages (Probably freaks the hell out of him with pain)
An army marches through his bowel (the constipation)
The intestines slowly become warm (When the herion has run its course your bowels loosen thus you need to take a crap really bad)

Actually is this about suicide..... the poison he is injectiong is being replaced by the metaphor of "music" The only true reason I know it's death is the line "He opened his eyes But he is not awake" This COULD be some kind of drug overdose too... I dunno.... R+ forever.... -Thauglor
Not completely what this song is about. Part of me says drugs, the other part says music. It's a good song either way.
I'd say it's about drugs.
Translation:
He lays the needle in the vein and he asks the music to come inside between his throat and forearm the melody travels softly in the bones
Go! Go! Go!
He has closed his eyes a battle rages in his blood an army marches through his bowel the intestines become warm slowly
Go! Go! Go!

Good song, the lyrics are a little weird. I'm just not too sure about the whole "army marches through his bowel" thing.
He opened his eyes But he is not awake
...I like the German Version better. It's sounds more chilling. And if you translate it correctly it would say: He opened his eyes but he did not wake up. But the meaning is the same =)
I agree; it certainly has drug-use overtones, but I am more inclined to say that the actual meaning of the song lies in the hopelessness and meaninglessness of life. The chorus lines (Nothing remains for you) seem to support this. Also, the "breakdown" of the music that occurs just after the midpoint of the song, like the one in "Rein Raus", is simply the most awesome sound ever made by anything.
Oh, by the way; if you listen carefully after each set of three "Los"es, someone (Richard?) says something that sound like "bop bop shu bop". Turn up the volume and listen closely; it's really there...
