this song is one of my favorite AC songs. very good stuff...ive listened to it tons of times and it still rocks.
this is an amazing song. AC is an amazing band, yes they remind me of SDRE, but we need more music like that.

when i heard this song for the first time, it gave me chills. i really love this sonng how its played and just like the vocals andguitar and everything about it. i would like to dissagree with ColKink about them trying to be like a SDRE band. AC has there very ownstyle of how the play their songs. they hardly sound like SDRE. maybe a little instrumentaly but other than that no. but yea i really think that the Appleseed Cast is and awesome band.

just cant get into two conversations, mare vitalis might be my favourite album as a whole but this is easily my favourite AC song ever. i have the perregrine leak and have preordered that though, and it sounds amazing.
back to the song, i think its about nostalgia of losing something, maybe a girl, maybe a family member. maybe even something else to do with his childhood, the 'spokes round baseball cards' bit seems to be reminiscent of younger days. now he wants to go back, obviously.
its lovely, a very emotional song and the best bit about it is although the basic meaning is there, you can apply it to all sorts. i love it lots lol
everyone needs to shut the fuck up about sdre and appleseed...both bands had their worthy releases, and honestly, i don't think ring wars even sounds THAT much like diary...crisci and enigk's voices are too distinctly different...
diary is one of my favorite albums of all time. so don't get me wrong. real estate was great......WAS great before two shitty releases...appleseed has always been great.
it's like someone already said...lay off the cast.
