No Borders, No Nations Lyrics
I always thought if you want to change the world
Then you have to start with yourself
So if the heads of state want to end terrorism
They should go ahead and kill themselves
I will not sign my blind faith away
To an unjustly leader of the unjust police state
Corporate masters live in their cess pool
Of extreme wealth and excess
Whoa oh Whoa oh
The phrase world leaders
Does not describe the heads of state
Those few in power
Work only for the corporate sake
No action, no interest, no humanity at all
As the corporate towers rise up
They watch the people fall
A government untouchable by the people
Run by the corporations of the world
Enslaving mothers, fathers, sons and daughters
Profits put before people
Equal force, equal reaction
Equal suppression, equal intimidation
Equal prosecution, equal propaganda,
Equal rebellion!
I will not sign my blind faith away
To an unjustly leader of the unjust police state
Corporate masters live in their cess pool
Of extreme wealth and excess
Whoa oh Whoa oh (Yeah!)
The phrase world leaders
Does not describe the heads of state
Those few in power
Work only for the corporate sake
No action, no interest, no humanity at all
As the corporate towers rise up...
We've got to make a change
No religions, sexual preference, and regardless of your race
We've got to make a change
No war, corporate run governments, no police state
We've got to make a change
For the good of the human race
We've got to make a change
For the good of the human race!
And you still look me in the eye
And you still wonder why...
Your cities fuckin burn!
No borders, no nations
No flags, no patriots
Whoa oh Whoa oh (x5)
Then you have to start with yourself

Means that #2 thinks that borders and nations are unnecessary things that just contribute to nationalism. Nationalism in a sense can be used as a manipulative tool to drive people to go to war against others that aren't even their business. Like the world leaders are telling them how to act and react and they get swamped by all the state run rhetoric telling them who to hate. All this is first done by seperating states with borders, states will start to form a sort of pride that would distinguish them from other states and this pride can be detrimental (see nazi germany in wwii). "No flags, no patriots", because patriots are flag waving people who believe in seperating themselves from others and are willing to die for their government and go to war, etc. Flags are viewed by anti-flag as symbols used to instill the sort of honor in people that would make them impose physical violence in other countries sometimes due to racial tension or foreign policy between governments that just went wrong.
2 is an awesome lyricist! straight forward lyrics, great views, he just says his opinion out in the open :D. ant-flag rocked the trocadero at the plea for peace tour too. check them out live
antiflagUNVI, were you trying to say that justin sane wasnt in die for the government and there system doesnt work for you? i believe he is the one that sings the song "die for the government." along with "no more dead" and "punk by the book". maybe your thinking of Chris #2
I think what was meant was a newer version with the new band.
what CD is this great song on? i cant find it on any of them. if you go to discography it gives you a list of the tracks on all the CDs, but i cant find this song.
never mind its on the BYO split series CD with the bouncing souls
