Samurai Sword Lyrics
You're a bear foraging for a kill.
Your massive paws press down the snow.
I've got bare feet touching bark right above you silently.
I lower down my icy stare. You smell the air.
I've got a samurai sword meant for you polar bear.
I've got a grizzly look in my eye.
You aim to drag me back down underground to gorge.
You want my blood all over your face
but I'm plummeting through branches towards you now, feeling still.
Your massive paws press down the snow.
I've got bare feet touching bark right above you silently.
I lower down my icy stare. You smell the air.
I've got a samurai sword meant for you polar bear.
I've got a grizzly look in my eye.
You aim to drag me back down underground to gorge.
You want my blood all over your face
but I'm plummeting through branches towards you now, feeling still.

whoa
I get the impression that the long silence after the song is over is ment for the person listening to read the section in the insert about "Swordlessness".
I love the microphones, and The Glow Pt. 2 is my favorite album. Their ability to cover such a range of sound on one album is astounding. Placing the delicate "I Felt Your Shape" right before this monster is a perfect example. I love how the wall of sound overpowers everything, yet (with good headphones) Elvrum's whispery voice can still be heard. The melody is hauntingy beautiful and the allusions to silently hunting a polar bear are eerily affecting. Awesome
