Car Wash Hair

This song reminds me of having sex with Deadheads. If you live out of the back of a VW Microbus the only place you can wash your hair is at one of those self-service car washes with the high-pressure hoses. And, as we all know, Deadhead chicks will pretty much bang any dude/chick so this guy is saying the chick he banged in the back of her VW slept with a chick in between times sleeping with him. Well, that's what I choose to believe anyway.

I think when he says he hopes he'll always be numbers one and three, he's saying he doesn't want to be an in-between relationship. He wants to be the beginning and/or the end. He doesn't want to be in a rebound, transitional relationship, one that has no promise and no passion.

A song with a sound that produces visions of epic proportions, but really is just about wanting to run your hands through someone's alluring car wash hair. I don't really know what is meant by this song but somehow I think it's buried in the amusing words "number two has got me confused ... hope I'll always be numbers one and three."

maybe he dosnt like to be in the middle of things, hence the reason he dosent wanna be number two as its in the midldle. ive tried and tried to think of what it could possibly mean but nothing other than that comes to mind at the momoent
