(Jose the Plug) yeah
Some shit just be out my hands, man
They be like, "Ray
Why you don't be doin' this?"
Why you be doin' that?
You need to focus up, son
Get off that lean, man
That lean fuckin' with you
Nah, nigga, you fuckin' with me, huh
Stop talkin' to me

Broke the law, broke these bitches' hearts
Tell me where to start
I ride with poles, super paranoid
Pay me like it's art
She left with mine so I dog 'em all
Baby left me scarred
I heard you had the bag, lil' nigga
But you dropped the ball
Bro was in the game first, shit
I'm Marc Gasol
I was in it headfirst, I ain't scared at all
I thought we was off the hook
But he brought the dogs
I ain't finna tell you shit
Let me get a call
Niggas sendin' hate through the
Hoes, that's for bitches, ho
I found out you got it
Right there, I'm Money Mitchin', though
Blue hundreds got on rubber band
I don't Crip at all
I don't really need a bitch for
Shit but a rental car
I'm runnin' out of patience
Heard you runnin' out of paper
Runnin' off on niggas, if I whack you
It's a statement whack my baby mama
She keep playin' with my baby
Finally got a plug
Just had a meeting with a label
And I don't wanna talk if it
Ain't M's on the table
Free my nigga G, we counted M's on that table
Rest in peace to Soda, man
He ain't here and that shit crazy
I wanna thank all my old
Hoes 'cause they made me
Rest in peace to Reek, I
Ain't forgot about you, baby
They tryna slam my hand like
I forgot when niggas hated
I showed up to LA
But I just started in the latest
Double cup shawty, bitch
You know I'm medicatin' niggas say a lot
But they can't tell you that I'm fakin'
A nigga had to cross state
Lines just to shake it

A nigga had to cross state
Lines just to make it always out of town
No more time in that basement
These niggas got all the time, but no paper
I'm fresh off the 'Hound
What's your kind? What's your flavor?
Shit so hard, it break razors
Brodie on the yard with a razor
Niggas sendin' hate through these hoes
That's what bitches do
I find out you doin' that ho shit
That's your finish move
AR hold some shit, hit you in the living room
Naw, that ain't my little bitch
She just get my rentals to me
Money made me crazy
Money made you niggas hate me
Fuckin' with the, whew
I can double up my paper
Barehanded trippin' in here playin' with it
Baby
All solid niggas, ain't no hams at this table
And I don't wanna hear that money shit
You ain't got enough had a ho send him on a
Dummy and we shot him up
I'm the type to hit a hit
City and I drop it up
Unc' got me on the bus smellin' loud as fuck

And I don't wanna talk if it
Ain't M's on the table
Free my nigga G, we counted M's on that table
Rest in peace to Soda, man
He ain't here and that shit crazy
I wanna thank all my old
Hoes 'cause they made me

I ain't go to college like
"Fuck an education"
Get me a good plug that supply 'em
I'm gon' make it
Weed so strong, got a nigga heart racin'
Ball every day, I don't wait for no occasion
Bitch, this a money run
This ain't no vacation always stay fresh
You can catch me in the latest
Fell in love with lean since the
First time I taste it
Always been me, I ain't never had to fake it
Nigga
Y'all tuned in to the life of a real nigga
How I got good relationships with
All the drug dealers
Bitches lyin' to they niggas just so
They can fuck with us
I ain't showin' love to niggas if
They don't fuck with us
Rest in peace Wayne, rest in peace Thump
Rest in peace my nigga Brick
I got a couple in the trunk
I could put one on your head
I could get a nigga slumped
Go'n break the 'Woods down, man
I'm tryna blow these Runtz

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

No Surprises
Radiohead
Same ideas expressed in Fitter, Happier are expressed in this song. We're told to strive for some sort of ideal life, which includes getting a good job, being kind to everyone, finding a partner, getting married, having a couple kids, living in a quiet neighborhood in a nice big house, etc. But in Fitter, Happier the narrator(?) realizes that it's incredibly robotic to live this life. People are being used by those in power "like a pig in a cage on antibiotics"--being pacified with things like new phones and cool gadgets and houses while being sucked dry. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. In the video, his helmet is slowly filling up with water, drowning him. But he's so complacent with it. This is a good summary of the song. This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers (not spiritual, but political, economic, etc. politicians and businessmen, perhaps) is not the way to live. But there is seemingly no way out but death. He'd rather die peacefully right now than live in this cage. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. that is going on in the world, often run by huge yet nearly invisible organizations, corporations, and 'leaders'. It's a very hopeless song because it reflects real life.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
