Leech with two daughters.
"Give, give they cry."
Her name is, she is a liar.
I refuse to be hers.
A kiss from her is one of the grave.
Bullets by her mouthful an enemy at the six.
She simply will not die.

To me this song is about satan and how he "eats" up the souls of the world. Here is an example of what I mean:

"Leach" repersents satan and "two daughters" repersents demons (satans demons) give give they (demons) cry (give your soul to them) her (satan name is liar I (christians) refuse to be hers (satan) A kiss from hers (satan) is one of the grave Bullets (lies) by her (satan) mouthful at the six (the number of the beast) She (satan) simply will not die

Well. Norma Jean has said that this song is about the Proverbs verse youa re all talking about. So however you translate that way.

And norma jean was like this: They were Luti-Kriss And then ludacris came out. So they decided to change the name. One of the members had been thinking about the name for awhile. And so they kinda looked into it. And turns out the name translated can mean "patterns of god" So it definitely worked out from a christian standpoint. And the Marylin Monroe thing is pure coincidence.

Ok, just to tell you, both my good friend and my brother have met the vocalist and have talked to him about what all the songs mean, so I'm sure on this. This is just about lust. Face to face, the title, is talking about our actions toward lust, how we yearn for it, yet push it away out of disgust. So you're right on track Darth Squirrel.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say, it refers to the adulterous as "She," just like it does in Proverbs all the time. Check this out:

All at once he followed her like an ox going to the slaughter, like a deer stepping into a noose till an arrow pierces his liver, like a bird darting into a snare, little knowing it will cost him his life.~Proverbs 7:22-23

    Similar to Norma lyrics, verdad?

this song is definitely about lust. read proverbs 30:15. it's like the first line almost verbatim.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
