Two Tabs of Mescaline Lyrics

I smell the sound of a growing gash
With pop sensibilities
K Q E D
It's a tune that equals you

I feel
Hallelujah
I fail
Bulemia
I'm frail
Hallelujah
I fell
salting the back of a snail

And this is worship and this is tribute
Am I crumbling, ripping or failing?
Knowing you fit, you fit, you fit in
And, and you fit in

K Q E E E E E E D
It's a tune that equals you

I feel
Hallelujah
I fail
Bulemia
I'm frail
Hallelujah
I fell
salting the back of a snail

And am I worshiping or am I tributing?
Loving, crumbling, ripping or failing
My Turkish prison is knowing I fit in
And, and I fit in

Feeding time an old friend of mine
At the leper zoo, yeah, yeah
Que sera? Erotic hurrah
With no rescue, girl

Feeding time an old friend of mine
At the leper zoo, yeah, yeah
Que sera? Erotic hurrah
It's cool be cool, girl

Sailor, sailor
Sailor, sailor
Sailor scent
Sailor, sailor
Scent sailor
Sailor, sailor
Scent

And worship, tribute
Crumbling, ripping, and failing
Knowing you fit, you fit, you fit in
And, and you fit in

Feeding time an old friend of mine
At the leper zoo, yeah, yeah
Que sera? Erotic hurrah
With no rescue, girl

Feeding time an old friend of mine
At the leper zoo, yeah, yeah
Que sera? Erotic hurrah
It's cool be cool, girl

Sailor scent
Sailor scent
Sailor scent
Sailor scent
Sailor, sailor

sorry if that sounded rude, but i meant it in a good way. listen to what you like. you shouldn't care what ppl say. and if they have a problem with it, screw em. no one has the right to judge you.

I don't think anyone got the two references this song made to an obscurely known screamo band in the mid nineties called Portraits of Past. "KQED Equals Volvo" was the name of one of their songs, and in another song called Bang Yer Head, a guitar melody sounds strangely like the tune Darryl is singing when he says

"Knowing you fit in... And, and, you fit in!"

That's my two cents.

I'm so glad I'm not the only person that noticed this <3

@Arkaic Lol i really dont think it has anything to do with KQED equals Volvo. Nice conspiracy though. I mean yeah i'm a Portraits of Past fan and when i saw KQED it made me think of Portraits of Past too. But I'm sure KQED is some media outlet like a TV station or Radio Station maybe. (too lazy to google) . but it's cool how you see how Bang Yer Head correlates to this song still. That'd be cool if there actually was a connection lol. crossing my fingers and hoping you actually know the answer...

Isn't KQED like a radio/TV broadcast station?

There was a link to the KQED site somewhere... I think that's what it is.
