I know I may be young, but I've got feelings too
And I need to do what I feel like doing
So let me go, and just listen

All you people look at me like I'm a little girl
Well did you ever think it'd be ok for me to step into this world

Always saying little girl don't step into the club
Well I'm just tryin' to find out why 'cause dancing's what I love

Get it get it, get it get it (oh)
Get it get it, get it get it (oh)
Get it get it, get it get it (oh)

I know I may come off quiet, I may come off shy
But I feel like talking, feel like dancing when I see this guy

What's practical is logical, what the hell, who cares?
All I know is I'm so happy when you're dancing there

I'm a slave for you, I cannot hold it, I cannot control it
I'm a slave for you, I won't deny it, I'm not trying to hide it

Baby, don't you wanna, dance up on me
(I just wanna dance next to you)
To another time and place
Oh baby, don't you wanna, dance up on me
(Are you ready)
Leaving behind my name, and age
(Let's go)

(Like that)
(You like it)
(Now watch me)

Get it get it, get it get it (oh)
Get it get it, get it get it (oh)
Get it get it, get it get it (oh)

I really wanna dance, tonight with you
(I just can't help myself)
I really wanna do what you want me to
(I just feel I let myself go)

I really wanna dance, tonight with you
(Wanna see you move)
I really wanna do what you want me to
(Uh uh uh)

Baby, don't you wanna, dance up on me
(I just wanna dance next to you)
To another time and place
Oh, baby, don't you wanna, dance up on me
(Are you ready)
Leaving behind my name, and age

I'm a slave for you (take that) I cannot hold it, I cannot control it
I'm a slave (it just feels right) for you (it just feels good)
I won't deny it, I'm not trying to hide it (baby)

Get it get it, get it get it (oh)
Get it get it, get it get it (oh)
Get it get it, get it get it (oh)

Get it get it, get it get it (oh)
Get it get it, get it get it (oh)
Get it get it, get it get it (oh)

I'm a slave for you (here we go now)
I cannot hold it, I cannot control it
I'm a slave for you, (here we go) I won't deny it, (yeah)
I'm not trying to hide it

(Like that)

Not only do I doubt she wrote this song at all (if I look it up later, I'll probably be told that's true), but even if she had it wouldn't be a credit to her. These lyrics are stupid, senseless, and devoid of any true meaning. This song was simply written in a sad attempt to make Britney Spears look more grown up, and to "sexify" her image. That, and the video is just kind of overdone. Everyone looks like they're trapped in a perpetual orgasm, it's embarassing to watch.

She didnt write this song. And if u knew ur britney facts, you would know that the song isnt about sex. Its about how the music takes control. And if u would pickup her new cd you will see that this song is different from the rest. Each song has a different thang to it. Its definatly a good and new britney.

haha this song is great because it's so trashy. only britney could get away with having such a song/video aired on radio/tv.

britney, britney, oh how much do i love you ? when i see you move in all these fine ways, making all these wonderful sounds, casting all these 'dangerous' looks,... my heart just skips a beat. go on my darling, you make me happier and happier with each new video. but will you do me a favor ? just forget about the lyrics, and the singing, and well yeah, the whole song actually. Just crawl and moan a bit. That's what you do best.

Songs are not meant to be written to get another Billboard Top 10. Music and song-writing is an art, and the way some people use this art is perturbing!

Is this even qualified as music? And to IheartNSync...what are you talking about, "the song is about music taking control". HAHA that's about the stupidest thing i've heard...well beside the fact that youheartNSync. you want a song about music overcoming, listen to Cold "Bleed". now that's music. Anyone can sing like Britney Spears as long as they pinch they're nose and whine. and i agree with punk_rawk_princess...music is an art, not some dumb excuse for sex. For example...take an artist like Ozzy Osbourne, Aaron Lewis, Linkin Park, Cold, even the Beatles...do you really think they wrote all their songs two minutes after watching some porn movie? yeah, that's what i thought. Now those are musicians. Britney Spears is just a no-talent musician wannabe. What she does isn't music...it's looking cute in front of a camera. Half the crap she sings probably isn't her anyway, it's studio magic. This song and Britney Spears is an embarresment to women everywhere and a discrase to the name and reputation of music. People are all out there blaming people like Marolyn Manson and Staind and all those kinds of bands for ruining their children. Why don't they look deeper and realize that because of people like Britney Spears, they're 10 year old daughters are all decked out in make up. Society these days...makes me shameful even to say i'm a part of it.

Matt Shadows their lead singer says the song was written as per request from the developers of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Watching the initial trailers for the game & looking at production sketches reminded him of the 'S-Town' podcast & its main protagonist, John B. McLemore. Matt also comments specifically on the lyrics: "I decided that the lyrics would shadow McLemore's life." In 2012, antiquarian horologist John B. McLemore sent an email to the staff of the show 'This American Life' asking them to investigate an alleged murder in his hometown of Woodstock, Alabama, a place McLemore claimed to despise. After a year of exchanging emails & several months of conversation with McLemore, producer Brian Reed traveled to Woodstock to investigate. Reed investigated the crime & eventually found that no such murder took place, though he struck up a friendship with the depressed but colorful character of McLemore. He recorded conversations with McLemore & other people in Woodstock. McLemore killed himself by drinking potassium cyanide on June 22, 2015 while the podcast was still in production. In the narrative of the podcast, this occurs at the end of the second episode; subsequent episodes deal with the fallout from McLemore's death while exploring more of McLemore's life & character.
