Yesterday i felt so cold, i felt like i could die
Took the needles from my arms and put them to the sky
Watched the cold come take me pull me down like i did know
I saw it gone
Hold myself up til tomorrow holds me down again
Feel the darkness coming over see how it begins
Come with me into the willow garden out tonight
Feel the darkness come my moon will touch you with its light
Help me life was over love i want to had you in my sights
See and i was overlooked i had you in my hands
Like a lid of no survivors nothing i don't mind
Help me broken baby help me break you with my mind.
Took the needles from my arms and put them to the sky
Watched the cold come take me pull me down like i did know
I saw it gone
Feel the darkness coming over see how it begins
Come with me into the willow garden out tonight
Feel the darkness come my moon will touch you with its light
See and i was overlooked i had you in my hands
Like a lid of no survivors nothing i don't mind
Help me broken baby help me break you with my mind.

This is perhaps one of Moby's best songs. Being a devote Moby fan, this is hard to say. It added a harder techno sound to play which helped complete this pretty much already perfect album. As for what its about, that is tricky. It seems to be about someone with an inner struggle and he feels haunted by someone from his past. I'm kinda taking a shot in the dark, but it sorta makes sense.
yeah but there's a bit in it where it says something backwards and quite quietly - what is that?
scary song, prolly about suicide....i think anyway...MOBY rules
ok, well i just spent a couple of hours arsing around with codec converters and i managed to play the song backwards and if anyones interested, it turns out that the bit that happens 100 seconds into the song is actually saying 'i have to say goodbye' backwards. weird.
I love this song. It's so... painfull almost. It makes me think of a mental breakdown where everything is just... not okay. When suddnely you just freak out, and lash out and.... god. I just love this song.
this is a great song musically and emotionally, but i have no idea what it means. and what does the title have to do with the song?
The opening line is from "In Between Days" by the Cure. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
This is the complete opposite to porcelain, though this song is beutiful. not how you would usually explain a techno song...
but for the meaning, the third verse makes me think that he is feeling like shit cause someone has left him. he feels depressed and angry all at once, and wants to blame the other person. he feels like he needs to get over it, then all of a sudden turns on the other person.
This is a really great song. I think hes struggling with something like drugs and he may have had a near death experience.
