Growing in numbers
Growing in speed
Can't fight the future
Can't fight what I see

People they come together
People they fall apart
No one can stop us now
'Cause we are all made of stars

Efforts of lovers
Left in my mind
I sing in the reaches
We'll see what we find

People they come together
People they fall apart
No one can stop us now
'Cause we are all made of stars

People they come together
People they fall apart
No one can stop us now
'Cause we are all made of stars

Slow slow slow, come come
Someone come come come
Even love is goin' 'round
You can't ignore what is goin' 'round

Slowly rebuilding
I feel it in me
Growing in numbers
Growing in peace

People they come together
People they fall apart
No one can stop us now
'Cause we are all made of stars

People they come together
People they fall apart
No one can stop us now
'Cause we are all made of stars

People they come together
(People they come together)
People they fall apart
(People they fall apart)
No one can stop us now
(No one can stop us now)
'Cause we are all made of stars
(We are all made of stars)

'Cause we are all made of stars
People they come together
'Cause we are all made of stars
(People they fall apart)
'Cause we are all made of stars
(No one can stop us now)
'Cause we are all made of stars
(We are all made of stars)

General Commenti love people who, instead of voicing opinions, just say everything sucks... and don't even spell it right.
nice job. even if i agreed with you, you'd still piss the hell out of me.

Song MeaningAway with everyone saying how good or bad everything is. Besides, how are the unique Moby and mainstream Eminem related in any way? Appreciate the fact that this is an astonishing song, and if you thin, one of the most meaningful.
Moby is showing various subjects in the lyrics to this song. The main message is how we should perceive our world. The music video shows him as an outsider amongst celeb culture, where the message that we can achieve anything from minds like the "stars" is wrongly implied. What he is actually saying is that we are here because of stars in the sky; which is scientifically valid. Every chemical element heavier than helium was created by fusion within stars, which went onto later stellar generations, including our solar system. Therefore, we are all made of stars.
Moby has also contrasted the science with patterns we follow in our lives; supposedly a reminder of our origins. Humans, like stars, are growing in numbers without disturbance or any way to be stopped, but no matter what humans or stars do, past or fate cannot be changed. Humans and stars are both born and both die no matter what, and although we know how both came to be, there are still uncertainties, and we know both will come to an end as one, but do not know how or when. This is all implied by what I consider the most philosophical lyrics I know, which are simple but to a great effect. So anyone who does not like this song has not understood it. If you don't, you should look at this in a mindful way and not criticise.

General CommentI like Eminem, I think he's funny but the fact is that what he says is usually all in fun. So quoting something he sings in one of his songs to make a point is just a waste your precious time. And if you don't like the song the why come to look at ther lyrics in the first place. Unless you were trying to start an argument

General Commentto be the nephew of herman melville would make him pretty damn old... however, i did hear that they were somehow related. but i don't think melville was moby's uncle. he died in 1891... anyways, in reference to this song, i rather like it, though i usually dislike moby.

General CommentHow would any one who doesn't listen to techno know how sucky it is. And just because you don't like some type of music doesn't mean that it sucks shit. If you ask me it's that type of attitude that is "shitty" and "sucks" Oh ans since you quoted from that Eminem song don't you think the beat is just to die for considering it is just as techno as a lot of "techno" music?

General Commentha, its nice to know that you have a mind of your own. Nice to know that you have been brain washed. You cant even speak for yourself. Why dont you qoute yourself sometimes,...and not some one else.

I like eminem,.....I think he is an amazing rapper,....but he takes it to the extreme,....and possibly to far,....I am not going to sit here and complain that he sucks
