Apparently, this brilliant piece of musicianship is lyrically based on life thru the eyes of a dog (!)

OK, I might be way off to the real meaning of the song, but Im just going to write my opinion and I sure as hell though alot about this.

To start this, i am first going to tell you that the title is not "Ddevils" its "Ddevil". The reason its "Ddevil" with 2 D's its because all of their songs are produced by "Ddevils Music" so i just think thats where they got the idea of putting 2 D's on the title.

The booklet thingy that comes with the cd has song dedication/meanings after the lyrics, and for this song it says "-for those that control the central nervous system, control society, and the world" I think this song is just an example of what he means when he says "for those who control the world", and it has to do with religion. At first, what i say isnt going to make any sense but in the end i think you will be able to put the pieces together.

"Plagiarized existence exist, among the writers of the word" - Plagiarized means when you Copy something (idea or writing) and then use it as your own. He is saying that the existence of plagiarize exists in between the people who wrote the word itself. So into simple words, the church/temple or whatever isnt the house of god or anything, they are just using him to get what they want. "Shake your spear at Shakespeare" - People are getting pissed at the people who started this all. (shit man, really hard to explain)

I am still trying to understand whats with the "loud and noisy, strong refrigerators, gainings independence" but im working on that. And if you have any idea how that can be related to my opinion please post it.

"Stupid people do stupid things" - He is saying that people belive whatever they are told. For example, just because Jesus or anyone else said they were God's son, that doesnt really make it so, but they belived it. "Smart people outsmart eachother" - These are the people that said they were god, these are the people who were smarter then anyone else and knew that the Stupid would belive them. "Then themselves, then themselves" - The smart people lied so much that they dont even know the truth anymore.

"Take me down there, photographic relapse, people feeding frenzy" - He wants to slip back inot the years when all this started and see who feeded this bullshit into peoples mind.

"My blue moon rivets in exits, forewarned customary spirits" - This is the hardest line i had to think about on this song. I got a littel help from InSaNiTyX. I am still 50% i am wrong but you know what, TRY FINDING IT OUT YOURSELF! Ok what he is saying is that all this new stuff thats written like the bible is way in the back of the line, he belives the usual stuff based on trdition, something that was always done!

Finally finished, Instead of doing my Home Work or anything like that, i deal with this crap that no one is going to care about! And by the way, this isnt my favorite song, PLUCK is, so go check out the lyrics for that song.

probably this won't help much in the way of the meaning, I don't know, but I think the shakespeare's weed has nothing to do with it. I think they mean that Shakespeare is so admired and he's so famous for his works but there are many people who believe that Will never wrote all that but Christopher Marlowe (another writer and friend of his) did. they do have some proof for that theory and hints from shakespear himself. so there you get the plagiarized-existence-writers-of-the-word-thing. PS: I love that part where he laughs and then does that grunt, sounds like Steve Urkel

I think the 'd' in D-Devil means the as in the devil.

Wasnt the record company/production company they were on called DDevil or something - i'm sure i saw the title of this track mentioned in the liner notes (apart from in the lyrics section itself of course).

ive always thought this song was about cloaning people....and how we shouldnt do that.....smart people outsmart themselves.....plagiarized existence exist....ya get where im comin from?.....id like to see some comments of my idea.........thanks

the devil doesnt want people to be circumcized....god wants it
