I think they mean that Shakespeare is so admired and he's so famous for his works but there are many people who believe that Will never wrote all that but Christopher Marlowe (another writer and friend of his) did. they do have some proof for that theory and hints from shakespear himself. so there you get the plagiarized-existence-writers-of-the-word-thing.
