this song really capture's the feeling of insomnia. i thing "who needs sleep" is sarcastic tho, because the speaker really does want sleep. i don't like that beer commercial cause it's not bnl singing it. i don't think they did the song justice. oh well.
it's coors beer......i agree, the commercial totally rocks and so does the song....the commercial is a remix, but its still cool.
The last time I sang this song to myself was when I was having a peticularly insomnic night..I got through the chorus, and since my mentallity at 4am is roughly that of a four year old, I shouted, "ooh! Pillow!" and just passed out..
Whee... I love this song. It's pretty much my theme song, insomniac that I am. ^_^ Somehow, I can rarely get to sleep before 2am, and then I get up at 6 to go to school... though probably no one cares about my sleep schedule, so I'll shut up now.
this song (i believe from born on a pirate ship) was never popular til the coor's comercial. its true though. why the hell do we need sleep? i need to stay up all day
For me, the song is sung by an insomniac. This is a person who wants to sleep, is trying to sleep, and simply can't. personally, I love sleep, especially the dreams that come with it. Though never sleeping does sound appealing (there is so much you could get done), I would miss it.
