Song Number 99 Lyrics
Computer Voice:'Go ahead and date a dead messiah, we can dig another grave'
This is your calling.
If you are hearing this, there is nothing I can do
Something has grown in my chest.
And I have seen it.
It is hard and cold.
It's been dormant for many years.
I have tried to save you, but I cannot come to save you
But this is what you deserve
This is what we deserve
This is something that we have brought upon ourselves
We are not a victim, you are not a victim
We are not a victim, you are not a victim
God will grovel before me.
God will crawl at my feet.
These are the dying years.
These are the dying years.
When you are suffering, know that I have betrayed you.

SongMeanings Mod.
This song is creepy, and really cool.It sets the album of perfectly, and makes the whole thing sound really complete.Listen to this album in the dark and let the whole thing play through to this track. Its quite unnerving, yet very cool at the smae time. This song is ace.
The last lines of this track are also the last lines in the antichrist superstar incase anyone couldnt understand....the whole album is linked together
This song serves as a prolouge and an epilouge for the album.
It is also a reference to the story "The Metamorphosis", which is a reoccuring thematic device used in the album and music videos (Watch "Tourniquet")
As Irresponsible hate anthem seems to look into the future, a glance at what happens when the Worm becomes Disintegrator, The Antichrist Superstar, this is almost like a recap of the album. The thing, the hatred growing inside the worm, him realizing how everything must be destroyed, him becoming drunk with power, and then destroying everything, with his famous words ringing in the ears of the World.
Go ahead and build a better messiah.
This is the disintegrator's message to the beautiful people. He wanted them to know he blames them for what happened to him and what he did to them. And he also wanted to tell them that their society is the way it is because of them, HOLY WOOD and the Valley of Death, and that everyone deserves that. He acknowledges that its a depraved world, and he leaves the last of his message.
The end.
