Bodies Lyrics
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the... floor
Beaten why for (why for)
Can't take much more
(here we go, here we go, here we go now)
One - Nothing wrong with me
Two - Nothing wrong with me
Three - Nothing wrong with me
Four - Nothing wrong with me
One - Something's got to give
Two - Something's got to give
Three - Something's got to give
four - Something's got to give
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
(Now)
Push me again (again)
This is the end
(here we go, here we go, here we go now)
One - Nothing wrong with me

Three - Nothing wrong with me

Driven by hate consumed by fear

I think that this song is actually quite easy to figure out. It's about someone that has been bullied and put down his entire life and one day he snaps and kills a lot of people. It's just like thoes people that shoot up schools and offices, they are people that can't take it anymore and have nothing else to live for so they go insane.
When you push someone long enough, they snap and when they do, there is no hope for you. People can seethe for years after an injustice. When they snap, it seemingly comes out of nowhere when in reality it was repressed anger building up over years of abuse, teasing and head games until it explodes. That is when the "bodies hit the floor" in death after you kill them or hire a professional to do it for you.
I agree with you and the meaning was so obvious good job!

Oh My Gosh, luizdelima, so wild that I found your comment today! I posted this songmeanings comment nearly two years ago but just today I was in a conversation with a psychology student about this very subject! I mentioned that life experiences and traumas may cause issues but mentally healthy people rarely suddenly "snap". Even with incredible stress or repressed anger, that person has to have a physical or chemical issue with the brain...either a genetic predisposition to mental illness and violence, set off when put in the right circumstances, or brain injury through head injury, stroke,...

Even with incredible stress or repressed anger, that person has to have a physical or chemical issue with the brain...either a genetic predisposition to mental illness and violence, set off when put in the right circumstances, or brain injury through head injury, stroke, tumor or drug use. The average person does not truly suddenly snap to the degree we see with premeditated [to the smallest detail] mass shootings like the Columbine High School massacre or the Batman premiere shooting. We were discussing whether those with antisocial personality disorder are "born" or "made". Then I found your post! Freaky coincidence!
This song is about someone who's being bullied and wants to but a bullet in his tormentors
Bodies.......a song about rocks true release, the mosh pit. A place where you jump around and run into people and they wont think that it is strange, but cool. It was a song for people to release too, and release to it people did. Dave Williams had always said that because many people were taking it as a f the world song. But he wasn't that kinda man, he was usually peacful and not vengeful. So I say turn this song up when listening to it, and pay proper respects to Dave Williams, and let something give, and have the bodies mit the floor. R.I.P. Dave, for you have many fans left here, listening to your music and enjoying the PIT. Peace to all.
Yip, about mosh pits
this song is awesome i love the start nice asnd low then it explodes. i saw them live a few days ago and they totally rock. heres hoping they get the success they deserve
It's not about killing people, as some might think, it's really about moshing at a rock concert
its about moshing, people. i really like this song, it gets me hyped up.
kat
