i think this song is about shitty parents who expect a lot of their kids but at the same time leave the parenting to TV...then 20 years later when their kids are on drugs or gay (not that its bad in my opinion..just not what most parents hope for), they disown their TV children.
I think this is about how media desensitizes kids to the dangers of drugs, unsafe sex, what have you, to the point where they don't know why it would be wrong.

i think it's about how parents over protect there kids but at the same time they fuck them up badly.
Awesome song. Love it. I think its maybe how the media and tv desensitizes kids and the parents do a shitty job at actually raising them themselves then letting the tv raise the kids and they become all that is wrong in the media today

this song deffinitly is about the media trying to fuck with kids. but she says, the harder you work us, that failure stains your hands cause you arent going to make me into something I'm not. but at the same time, its turning you into what they want. I dont know exactly I have it on my head, but this is my favorite song by JOJ
I agree with all of the above. This is indeed a fabulous song. It makes me think of the neglected children of early Generation Y.
The Lyrics clearly state she was desensitized, et al, up at birth and it is not the TV to blame.
It is obviously aimed parents who blame their bad parenting on everything and everyone else instead of taking the responsibility that they rightly deserve.
