I see you walking everyday
With a smile beneath frown
But I won't look away, yeah
What does it mean?
What's there to see?

If I look closer
Closer, closer
Closer, closer
Closer, closer
Closer

Where are you going?
And what are you thinking at all?
Your eyes show nothing more
Than a dazed oblivion
What does it mean?
What will I see?

When I look closer
Closer, closer
Closer, closer
Closer, closer
Closer, yeah

You don't see me
Watching everyday
My smile could warm your frown
And I'd never look away
Never look away
There's more to me (there's more to me)
Than what you see

When you look closer
Closer, closer
Closer, closer
Closer, closer
Closer, closer
Closer, closer
Closer, yeah
Closer, closer
Closer, no no, oh

Just a beautiful song about someone who is often misunderstood, yet the song's singer cares enough to look a little deeper at this person, to see the beauty inside and cheer their heart. Great melody, with the always lovely voices of the Corr sisters.

underrated Corrs song. this has always been one of my favourites, and I never really get tired of listening to it. This is about a woman who is asking to be understood on a deeper, emotional level. beautiful music .the piano is brilliant.

Love this song. It's about seeing deeper than what's on the surface. About really knowing someone despite what their "mask" shows off. It's about trying to make them take off their guards and let you in.
