am i right in thinking this song is about the end of summer/beginning of autumn?

The mention of Diana, if I'm not mistaken, is referring to Diana goddess of the moon.
....I hope that guy who mentioned Princess Diana was joking.

This song is not about the end of summer, it appears that way but they mention to much about war. This lyric to me seems to be about the dead rising up and beginning a war against humanity. Clearly Dani was writing about undead. Winter spawns from barren thighs to readdress, to slay the blind. I think hes refering to the blind as relgions. Will their "god" of bridled love assuage our rule from planes above or shrink in fear from Chaos roused for war? there its questioning if god with help the holy in the war. But then again, maybe im wrong. In many songs Dani writes about winter ruling over summer... but "their fruit has putrified forbidden once and bound to die " is there not alot of reference to the garden of eden is this song? I think its about the unholy warring against the holy... just like most of his songs :P

My own interpretation is, the song uses the metaphor of autumn and winter's inevitable triumph over summer to describe the triumph of the "Satanic" and/or pagan, always rabidly anti-Christian forces that Dani Filth is always writing about. (I know, that sounds pretentious.)
If Dani meant the lyrics as an experiment, well, I think it's an interesting one, but not his finest work.
