the sample of "mothership connection" just makes this song amazing. dre just continues clinton's call of having a good time despite all the shit that is going on in this society.

Easily the best G-Funk song ever made, still holds up today and for my money, is Dre's best song rapping, producing or otherwise.

I just love the line "Now I'm smelling like Indonesia", and the whole song for that matter.

I'm surprised there isn't more comments on the supposedly best/most influential rap album ever...

Does anybody know anything about the meaning or the relevance of the passage in the very beginning of the song? It's a very short, somewhat unintelligible rap by a female that lasts about 10-15 seconds, and it sounds like it's in Croatian or Jamaican? I checked to see if it was sampled from another artist but apparently it was recorded specifically for the track. Credited vocalists for the chorus on the Wikipedia listing are 'Ruben and Jewell' although it isn't clear if either vocalist did the short rap in the beginning of the song. I'm dying to find an answer for this mysterious element of the song!
