AMAZING lyrics. It's like he's saying I realise now that I need you. I need love in my life. How wrong I was to shut it out. But of course it's too late.
Maybe he was dedicating his time to his career and this one girl kept holding on until she finally couldn't hold on any longer and so she let go. Now he realises how wrong he was. It's put across so honestly in this song. It sounds like he really means it. Hopefully every man who behaves like this will realise that love is the only meaning and purpose in life.

This song is incredible from start to finish...Gary Barlow is a wonderful songwriter...So emotive and is amazing with the catchy hooks....He writes some of the best pop music around today...This is just one of them...So enduring...came out in 93 and today can still be sung word for word by many who were not Fans, or too young to remember Take That...TT songs just last, and resonate with the masses...To add, the dance that accompanies this song is a sight to see on their tours <33
