I'd say this amazing song is about someone (whom the speaker was in a relationship with) that turns all these little problems and inconveniences into giant situations with their pessimism. I know enough people like that, including the last girl I was in a relationship with. I can definitely relate; Yet another "Development" highlight.
And Elias's aggression in the second "want to kill" is completely engaging.
