Bück Dich (English) Lyrics
Bend over is what I command you
Turn your face away from me
I do not care about your face
Bend over
A biped on all fours
I'll take him for a walk
In the hallway along the corridor
I'm disappointed
Now he comes backwards towards me
Honey sticks to the garter
I am disappointed, totally disappointed
Bend over
Bend over
Bend over
Bend over
The face is not interesting me
The biped bent down
Put in a good light
I show him what you can do
And started crying
The biped stammered a prayer
Out of fear because I feel worse
Try to bend down even more
Tears are running high in the back
Bend over
Bend over
Bend over
Bend over
Bend over is what I command you
Turn your face away from me
I do not care about your face
Bend down again
Bend over
Bend over
Bend over
Bend over
Bend over
Turn your face away from me
I do not care about your face
Bend over
I'll take him for a walk
In the hallway along the corridor
I'm disappointed
Honey sticks to the garter
I am disappointed, totally disappointed
Put in a good light
I show him what you can do
And started crying
Out of fear because I feel worse
Try to bend down even more
Tears are running high in the back
Turn your face away from me
I do not care about your face
Bend down again

it is NOT about abuse or "misuse of total power"
it is about SM (sadomasochistic) a master and his slave - bondage and this things
and i'm SURE that's the meaning, because i speak german, too - and in the german version there's no doubt about it
"Du Hast" was the first song I ever heard from this band and at first I didn't much like it because it was in a language I didn't understand and Till's voice kinda creeped me out for a while. I mean, doesn't he sound like this huge terrifying machine when he sings? Anyway, earlier this year, my boyfriend gave me some Rammstein music he had downloaded [among which was "Du Hast"] and I decided to give the two songs a listen to see if I liked them any more. Well, I did and now I'm in love with the band. I love the fierceness of the guitars and the general hardness of the music. Till doesn't creep me out any more. I think he's amazing and I think German goes perfectly with heavy metal. Anyway, about this song. I think it is about control in a bondage and mastery situation. It doesn't directly say anything about sex, but if you read well enough in to the lyrics you should be able to see it. I think it is about a person who has a bondage slave who uses that person for sex and whatnot. He enjoys the sexual part of it and the control and power he has over this other person, but at the same time he knows it's hurting them and can't bare to look at their face. It kinda makes me think of serial killers, you know? Like a man will carefully pick out a victim, go to her [Usually is a female if the killer is a male unless he is gay but we'll say he's straight for now], overpowers her so that he establishes control over her and has his way with her before taking her life. During all of this, the woman is praying and fearing for her life because this strange man holds it in his very hands. If he should so wish, he could end it in an instant with one quick well-placed slash of a knife, a hand about the throat or a gun to the head. But a lot of times, these killers cover their victims faces. This is most likely in my opinion because [A] they don't want their victim to see them in case they somehow manage to survive and [B] because sometimes they do have a tiny shred of remorse in them and they don't want to so they hide the face from view.
Ah. Its definatly about rape/s&m/power. "Bend Down" is the sexual reference for all of you. also "all fours" does too. I dont want to see your face insinuates that he only wants that person for sex.

You are not serious, are you? Then according to you "Heirate mich" is only about some guy unearthing his fiancée to fuck her since that's obviously what he sings about.
Sure the literal meaning of this song is SM and master and slave, but there's more to it. Any Rammstein song has different layers of meaning.
This song is political. The "master" is a state/politicians and the "slave" are people.
Man, this song kicks ass. To bad they took it off the American DVD of Life Aus Berlin. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on this video from the Live Aus Berlin? Man this song rocks. I think it shows the obsession part in love, but only for sex. Like the person bending down is just the slave to the master. And once the master figured out how much he hurt this person because they realized they were a tool, the master realized how much of an ass he was. ya, well hey... thats what I think.
I think this song is about control... and being ashamed of being controlling. Or it could even be about rape. Rammstein touches on this ubject alot. Till especially thinks it is haynes(sp?) I think it is about taking controll of or raping someone and not having the courage to look them in the face

yea rape or control sounds right, rape cos he doesnt want to look at their face and that it says "The human stammers a prayer" ppl revert to prayer when they fear for their life. Also with control how he walks the person around the place like in some master and slave type of thing. Its a awesome song but whatever 1 its about
it's about a master raping his slave one last time before he disbands them...it's rather sad actually...apparently they weren't a good bitch and needed to be lost...well whatever...that's just my two bits...
