Anyways, this song, to me, is about the overall stress that society feels today. Life is so complicated and superficial that people don't even have true happiness anymore.
Everyone is fucking vain. People try to make themselves happy with pride, vanity, and other things that are only fleeting and are rather fake. "Bored by happiness" refers to this; the joys people have today aren't really true happiness, because it's not a thing you can just gain.
The only true way to be happy is just to be a good person, with people you love. Simplicity is best, stop trying to make life so complicated and stressful. :)
