It's about someone that's unfaithful in the beginning but then realises that they don't want that anymore. He sings "Life's a bummer / When you're a hummer / Life's a drag" and leaves it hanging ["When you're a fag"]. It's a sad song "Yeah I want something new / But what am I supposed to do about you" - he's got something but wants something more / different.
