You kicked me in the chest
And I spit up the blood
Of 6 months time I wasted
That Ill never get back again.
Why do I waste my time
Hanging on your every word
Trying not to miss the realization
That will never cross your lips
Waiting for you to feel something
That youll never understand.
This guessing game has gone too long
and im concedeing a defeat.
Friendship looms above our heads
And I want to bring it down
Put this past behind me
And stand on solid ground

I dont want to be your friend
I want to be that enemy
that gets you in the end.
The one that makes the final twist
That leaves the crowd in awe
The one that holds the heart you kiss
That replaced me all in all.

This is a great poem. All of your poems are great poems but they are all wonderful in different ways. Your work can make my emotions change to what you might have been feeling while writing your poems or expierencing whatever you went through that you are writing about and that has to say something about your work. That it is damn good. Keep it up.
I really really like the last two stanzas of it, I can relate to it all too well. Seriously, good job there! :)
heh my life story ...about the final twist..however i want the person i like to do it..and in a positive way..the and the lived happily ever after kind..but i 'spose 'tis better the way you wrote it :)
