Nobody Came Lyrics
Laying lost and wounded
Just myself to blame
Have no life and
Being hand-fed pain
Head's a crying wasteland
Filled with shame
Cried for help before and
Nobody came
His father beats him
No hesitation
His face left dripping
In humiliation
As he lies wounded
His father turns to clay
A frozen statue
Can't walk away
His head's a crying wasteland
Filled with shame
Cried for help before and
Nobody came
To see what I can lose again
For being the victim
No
Just myself to blame
Have no life and
Being hand-fed pain
Filled with shame
Cried for help before and
Nobody came
No hesitation
His face left dripping
In humiliation
His father turns to clay
A frozen statue
Can't walk away
Filled with shame
Cried for help before and
Nobody came
For being the victim

I think it is about domestic violence, like the above people have all said (I think...:S) and how nobody has come to save me.
But, I do find the first verse:
"Laying lost and wounded Just myself to blame Have no life and Being hand-fed pain"
Similar to my own life, even though it wasn't the meaning intended, I don't think.
"Laying lost and wounded" - When I am lying in bed at night, cutting myself.
"Just myself to blame" - It IS just myself to blame. No-one has forced me to do what I do. I just want to feel more pain, because I genuinely think I deserve it.
"Have no life and" - I really don't have a life. I don't go out anywhere fun, just to the park, or out shopping with my parents. I'm hiding behind this keyboard more than anything.
"Being hand-fed pain" - I have been giving alot of hurt and pain in my life, which has led me to cutting myself.
I like the control more than anything.
I like it alot.
Anyway, that is how I feel about the song.
It's just about crying out for help but nobody hearing or caring...
I think that it is a sum of music addict and myseryhead. It´s about domestic violence and nobody helping...
I can't help but think that this song was inspired by the beatings Daniel endured.
i agree with music addict and i'd like to say, also that its: A Damn Good song, damn good album (Freak Show), my favourite out of the 3, the 1st 3, silverchair albums i have. the instrumental bit at the end. woo!! Rock on!!
this song is abiut domestic violence. "his father beats him, no hesistation...face left drippin' in humiliation" i used to play this song when i was angry at the world.....it always made me feel better....
