this is a kick arse song, i love the pokinatcha punk, im so glad he has his own song, lol, go the mxpx mascot!
Holla... this is one mucho grande song... right. I never took spanish so I don't know what I just said. Anywho, as for what this song means, it's about how the love of God is something that you can't really describe, but once you have it, it becomes a part of you and it affects everything you do. Everything you do is affected by it. When Mike says nothin you can do will make us fall, he refers to the power of Christians in large groups. Even the phrase "Pokinatcha Punx" refers to in your face, umm, ness. yes. in-your-face-ness. Then the last part is where he says he's meaningful to us but not to you is where he says that Christ means alot to him and the band, yet alot of people he knows don't care one way or the other about Him. They live their lives reflecting God (his light is shining through and on to you)and it's your choice as to whether you want to ask them about it or talk to God (he'll always be there watching) Booyah! also, check out Blankly Fallen. They are cool dudes!
with you all the way aberzombie143, you are right on Go Christians!
aberzombie143... you said the song was "very big" (mucho grande) but hey, it has a very big and awesome meaning, so you did good :)
yeah this song rocks and so do christians!!!! lol
i guess that your meanings make sence, but i think it has a different meaning. its about punks, hence pokinatcha punx.
i didn't think that mxpx had very many Christian songs and i never thought aboutt he lyrics that way. thanks for pointing it out aberzombie!
I have to agree fully with aberzombie except pokinatcha punx is just the mascots name randomly thrown in.. im pretty sure but everything else is excatly wat i think.. the place u coudln put on a map may be heaven? i dont know! Rok on 4 Jesus
The song title refers to the punk kid logo that they call a Pokinatcha Punk. So in turn I have heard that some MxPx fans refer to them selfs as Pokinatcha Punks. So I think what he is referring to is what we as Pokinatha Punks believe in and how we live our lives.
