The waking world is a fond companion
But im tired of its wicked ways
All is order, All has place
Ive broken agenda, my nameless face.
To take it personal is to show you care
Ive dropped the ball, they start to stare.
I tend to worry for stupid reasons
A change of tide, A change of season.
Solid ground is where I stand
Some take the high road, the master plan
I dont see the logic behind these ways
The glass is broken, the wire frayed.
A broken heart thats not worth healing
A savage beast that stopped beleiving.
To the river with all your lies
Swept away by darkness tides.
Values and Morals, what you hold dear
You mock me with your childish sneers.
Am I good enough to pass your time?
Or is it danger of a night sublime.
The straighter the line the better you feel
The line of command, your mind they steal
A time of triumph or a time of pain?
Its all within me that keeps me sane.
If they were to snap, would you cry
So short a chain, they caught your eye.
Run with me into the clouds
We sail away, we can't be found.
A vacation from this damn'ed place
A temporary solution to this sluggish pace.
Hold my hand as we wait for the night
We will make it safe, all is right.
