I've always taken a fairly literal interpretation to this. Young kid goes to war, thinking of idealism and patriotism and all that, and then he's faced with the realities of danger and death.
Why isn't there any posts for this song. "Out On Patrol" is an amazing offspring song, Just like every other one by my favorite band. OFFSPRING RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
