In My Heart Lyrics
Lord, I want to be up in my heart
Lord, I want to be up in my heart
Lord, I want to be up in my heart
Lord, I want to be up in my heart
Be, ohh, just in my heart, oh Lord
Just in my heart, oh Lord
Be, ohh, just in my heart, oh Lord
Just in my heart, oh Lord
Lord, I want to be up in my heart
Lord, I want to be up in my heart
Be, ohh, just in my heart, oh Lord
Just in my heart, oh Lord
Be, ohh, just in my heart, oh Lord
Just in my heart, oh Lord
Be, ohh, just in my heart, oh Lord
Just in my heart, oh Lord
Be, ohh, just in my heart, oh Lord
Just in my heart, oh Lord
Lord, I want to be up in my heart
Lord, I want to be up in my heart
Lord, I want to be up in my heart
Just in my heart, oh Lord
Be, ohh, just in my heart, oh Lord
Just in my heart, oh Lord
Lord, I want to be up in my heart
Just in my heart, oh Lord
Be, ohh, just in my heart, oh Lord
Just in my heart, oh Lord
Just in my heart, oh Lord
Be, ohh, just in my heart, oh Lord
Just in my heart, oh Lord
the lyrics aren't much to look at, but the music is amazingly full of emotion.
i am surprised no one else has commented on this song.
ecstasy!
Altruistic loneliness.
He doesn't love himself ("I want to be up in my heart" suggesting he currently isn't but desires so) and others naturally do love him. But he wants the opposite: to love himself and doesn't want anybody else to love him ("just in my heart").
I've owned a copy of this since it first came out, and I've always assumed that he just wants to feel content, and he's just telling his God .
