This is my favorite song on the album. This and Medicate. This is the kind of band I'd wait all night to get tickets for. As SOON as they I get my liscence I'm driving down to the states and following one of their tours. (Wow thats a little freakish huh?)

it's not that complicated, but i might be wrong. it's about a girl. he liked her, they went out, she raised him up, but not too high (float upon a shallow bay). then she dropped him (ground gives way) now he's angry, but he'll be ok, as he adopts the philosiphy you live you learn.

The imagery is awesome! I can totally see Ben floating, hehe!

i saw them at poinfest in st.louis. this was the last song of their set. he said "this song is for all the shallow bay-ers out there" then came the intro... i about pooped my pants it was so awesome. they totally rock live.

the song's about a mosh pit. just getting home from california and starting a band. he's like "yeah i'm havein a good time now so don't fick with me"

I'm not totally sure what it's about, but when I saw them in concert, this was the last song they played and he said "This goes out to all you Shallow Bays." Hm...

I think Ben really wanted to sleep with this girl, but she was to good for him, and he knew that. hence the line: "I don't think you wanna fuck with me" And the first verse was about how she wasn't ready, and the 2nd verse is about how she is ready.
