Oyster pearl
you easy girls
you're flapping in
you're shouting
you're dead good
all the men say
legs wide
hips swinging like a doorway
easy
I'm ranting
I'm raving
I'm taking in
just everything
you're giving me
no leeway
I opened once
and you called me devil's gateway
easy
and I deserve it
I asked you for it
have to admit it
we dress like targets
yes I deserve it
give me no leeway
I'll give you fine times
you can call me devil's gateway
easy
you easy girls
you're flapping in
you're shouting
you're dead good
all the men say
legs wide
hips swinging like a doorway
I'm raving
I'm taking in
just everything
you're giving me
no leeway
I opened once
and you called me devil's gateway
I asked you for it
have to admit it
we dress like targets
yes I deserve it
give me no leeway
I'll give you fine times
you can call me devil's gateway

I love PJ at her bitter best. This song is about how society calls girls who have sex "easy" even if it's just one time.
My favorite part is the last part, where she says "And I deserve it, I have to admit it, I was asking for it." It's the typical internalization of society telling women "you had it coming," even if the woman was victimized. PJ Harvey is so astute in shredding societal attitudes while being catchy and clever.
