Pyretta Blaze Lyrics
Beautiful yet dangerous
Thermogenic luminous
Like a moth drawn to a flame
I'm the same
All cremated equally
As a spark still I knew
I'll be lured be consumed
She a pyre incarnate incinerate
An inferno turned to flesh
You are the first will be my last
Will be my final words
Said she
Pyretta blaze
Say the words I long to hear
Pinch bite kiss suck lick and sear
In a pyromantic way
I'm her slave
Living for her to ignite
You are the first will be my last
Will be my final words
Said she
Pyretta blaze
Thermogenic luminous
Like a moth drawn to a flame
I'm the same
All cremated equally
I'll be lured be consumed
She a pyre incarnate incinerate
An inferno turned to flesh
Will be my final words
Said she
Pyretta blaze
Pinch bite kiss suck lick and sear
In a pyromantic way
I'm her slave
Living for her to ignite
Will be my final words
Said she
Pyretta blaze

Black Sabbath - Into the Void
OK wow. My first serious relationship was with this beautiful readheaded girl. She also had a very crazy personality. I'm talking the kind that only comes from fucked up parents. We were all about kinky sex and fighting. Thats pretty much the only things we did. Everything about her was fire. And I do happen to be a little bit of a pyro.
She was also my first kiss and everything else. We were supposed to get married "my first and will be my last" Things got kinda sour and she started cheating on me. Every time hurt... or burned. But I always went back to her. This song is so perfect for our relationship its scary. That was like 7 years ago and I haven't missed her in a long long time. BEAUTIFUL SONG!
Nice and heavy but really beautiful and uplifting. I <3
I haven't decided how literally I want to take this song yet - either about pyromania, worshipping some sort of fire-Goddess, or just a metaphor for any kind of love. I think the second of those is the coolest.
I think it is about a cigarette.
Definately a mixed message one here but I'm going for pyromania with him personifying the flame as his "goddess" (which is partially what by Silverdew said) .
Just reading the lyrics and listening to the song, this song to me is half about drugs and half about love and lust, not a bad song.
LOL a cigarette!!!! LOL that is the best idea for the meaning of the song I have heard yet. It is so true if you think of smoking when you listen to the song. Good stuff caskets4less.
I think it is about a woman who has so much sex appeal that she's pretty much on fire, and the singer considers her his first and final love because he's consumed with her.
I agree with hotsoupwoman but the 'singer' has a name ya know...in which everyone knows...
^agreed. Although I still adore this song. But the bridge to Into the Void reminds me of the bridge to "How Could She?"
@goneshootin22 there are so many Sabbath riffs that were altered and used in Type O songs. War Pigs-These Three Things, the behind the nut pre-bend and release intro in Ironman was used a ton, the middle uptempo part of How Could She? is a mix of the guitar in Under the Sun and the bass in Fairies Wear Boots. I love it.
