Greatest vocals I have ever heard. Blind Guardian are pretty much the best thing to ever happen to metal. And jcombs pike is right. Theres isint really one meaning attached to the song. There can be other logical meanings too, such as the one about the jews after the holocaust.

This song blew me away instantly. The guitar intro is awesome. Its funny though. Everytime someone praises the guitarists of Dragon Force, I say "Id be that fast too if I practiced Emerald Sword that much" Inplying that every riff from dragonforce can be traced back to this intro. Funny really
