I woke up this morning and the sun was gone
Turned on some music to start my day
I lost myself in a familiar song
Closed my eyes and I slipped away
Ooh, ooh, ooh

(More than a feeling)
(More than a feeling)
Well it's more than a feeling
(More than a feeling)
When I hear that old song they used to play
(More than a feeling)
And I begin dreaming
(More than a feeling)
Till I see Mary Ann walk away

When I'm tired and I think I'm cold
I hide in my music and forget the day
And dream of a girl that I used to know
Close my eyes and she slipped away
Ooh, ooh, ooh

(More than a feeling)
(More than a feeling)
Well it's more than a feeling
(More than a feeling)
When I hear that old song they used to play
(More than a feeling)
And I begin dreaming
(More than a feeling)
Till I see Mary Ann walk away

Well it's more than a feeling
(More than a feeling)
When I hear that old song they used to play
(More than a feeling)
And I begin dreaming
(More than a feeling)
Till I see Mary Ann walk away

Close my eyes and slip away

Luckyduckyx, guess why it's well written? Because NSync basically stole this song and totally fucked it up. Buy the version by Boston and listen.

    BULLSHIT!!!! BULLFUCKINIG SHIT!!!!!

The worst part about this song is that it has one of the Coolest guitar riffs EVER and it has been covered by a bunch of sackless deuchebags who dont even play instruments.....

Where is the live energy that comes with doing a back flip after a mind blowing solo? not here cause these fags only dance and cover songs so far out their league,......

    I hate corporate bullshit music......

Well written because They didnt write it..... where the hell are the other comments?

I write this comment at the risk of my previous one being magically reinstated and me look like a fool,,,,,,, but i cannot stand the idea of someone thinking this is an *NSYNC song......

First off it was written in the 80's by a band called BOSTON......

it has 5 guitars playing in this song: Guitar #1: 12-string acoustic Guitar #2: 6-string electric (rhythm, power chords) Guitar #3: 6-string electric (leads-melody) Guitar #4: 6-string electric (leads-harmony) Guitar #5: bass guitar

And this song was played by get this THE PEOPLE WHO WROTE IT!!!!....

Not some ninny whackers who fuckin dance and sing and put on makeup because the dont give a shit about the music, by real artists!!!

This song has one of the COOLEST Guitar riffs ever........

And it falls a notch because these deuche bags covered it.....

Boston actually played the instruments you'd hear...... it wasnt them singing and dancing to a tape for 12 year old girls forced to sit down at a concert so their shit could be conviently splurt onto the audiences lap, it was emotion and art and power........

*Nsync is just crap....... I am so gald that the polished boy band fad is gone........

this song is still one of the coolest songs to play air guitar to, but from now on , everytime I hear it, Ill be thinking of NSYNC.......

    And that hurts......

so all you stupid dipshits that like your corporate produced bullshit piping hot and retarded.... come and get it..... cause this is one of the hottest dishes they could have ever served up....

I know it was originally by Boston. I never said NSYNC originally wrote it. I love the cover by Nsync, they have wonderful voices. I love the orignal by Botson, they are obviously amazing for many reasons.

Everyone is missing the whole point of this song! It's about music!! ahhhh! LOL Music should be more than a "feeling"... so enough of this "they suck-they're better" emotion... this song is about what music does to you...

The true heart of this song is in the guitar riffs played from the original track by the band Boston... however, I don't deny that NSYNC is a good (boy) group... they have vocal talent... and even if they were "manufactured"... lol... they were "manufactured" well...

This is a great acapella cover... I can appreciate NSYNC's efforts. It's just a cover... probably a song a group would audition to a record exec to prove vocal ability.

All around ... job well done to them... all of them!

NSYNC DIDNT WRITE THIS SONG They covered it from BOSTON Boston wrote this song 32 years ago, and it was awesome.

NSYNCs version is not beautiful, it doesnt sound good, and it isnt awesome. It's a sellout piece of garbage.

Holy shit. Kurt DID rip this song off... Smells Like Teen Spirit isn't Nirvana's best song anyway.

Anyway, shoot me for being a 13 year old chick and loving this song. I'm listening to it on repeat at the moment. I love oldies.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
