Lisa's Birthday Song Lyrics
Michael: Lisa, it's your birthday.
God bless you this day.
You gave me the gift of a little sister,
And I'm proud of you today.
Michael and Bart: Lisa, it's your birthday.
Happy birthday, Lisa.
Lisa, it's your birthday.
Happy birthday, Lisa.
Michael: I wish you love and good will.
I wish you peace and joy.
Bart: I wish you better than your heart desires.
Michael: And your first kiss from a boy.
Michael and Bart: Lisa, it's your birthday.
Happy birthday, Lisa.
Lisa, it's your birthday.
Happy birthday, Lisa.
Bart: Yeah!
AHEM... its good... yeh...
Please, don't tell me that it's Michael Jackson in it? That's just creepy, even in a cartoon...
While Michael Jackson was a guest voice in the episode (Stark Raving Dad, season 3), he didn't provide the singing voice. Kipp Lennon sung Michael's part in this song, and has worked on a few other songs in the Simpsons as well.
They make fun of Michael Jackson in a later episode. It's something like this;
Bart: Oh, Millhouse. Your soul isn't real. It's just something grown-ups made up to scare kids like the boogeyman or Michael Jackson.
This is catchy...
