Berry (English) Lyrics
Daddy mommy sad my favorite ice cream is strawberry
Daddy mommy mad the name of the kitten I love is strawberry
Daddy mommy sad strawberry flows from me
Daddy mommy mad strawberry flows from daddy
Daddy mommy bad strawberry flows from mommy
Daddy mommy abuse a bruise on my body, adding another injury
I was born nine years ago and every night, in bed
Together with the cat I go to sleep
In the morning without fail I put plenty of jam on my favorite bread
Nothing changes, but
Raspberry jam
Deep red ice cream, I'll let it all out
I quietly peeped in daddy's drawer, there was something inside
Carefully I got it out to see
When daddy and mommy settle settle down to sleep I'll softly creep up
Shall I shoot straight through you?
I'm hungry I'll put jam on my favorite bread and eat it
Pistol right at the forehead
Raspberry jam
Daddy mommy mad the name of the kitten I love is strawberry
Daddy mommy sad strawberry flows from me
Daddy mommy mad strawberry flows from daddy
Daddy mommy bad strawberry flows from mommy
Daddy mommy abuse a bruise on my body, adding another injury
I was born nine years ago and every night, in bed
Together with the cat I go to sleep
In the morning without fail I put plenty of jam on my favorite bread

Raspberry Jam, quite clearly, is blood. The insanity of the young child is explored, here.
Odd that no one commented on what "Strawberry" meant. When Kyo used the word strawberry, he used it to refer to blood. That's why he said "strawberry flows from me" then "Daddy" and "Mommy". I agree with tGR777 though. Boku is more commonly used for boys than girls. I see why you might think it's a girl though; lots of Kyo's songs involve girl speakers. i.e. Yurameki.
Ahh... I love Kyo so much!!
...obviously, like most of Kyo's lyrics, it's about abuse (dear dear Kyo, what's wrong?). The child is being abused, so she (i'm pretty sure it's "she") takes the gun from her parents dresser and shoots them while they're alseep... hmm... disturbing...
and dont forget she eats their brains
and dont forget she eats their brains
yup, its about a child planning to kill his/her parents. Rasperry, is blood. And that gunshot at the end of the song should tell you something.
weeee...yet another example of how twisted Kyo can be. Gotta love 'im though. You're right about the abuse...not much more you can say really.
Uber shibby song.
I love the beginning, the kid with the creepy british accent thing..
Sorry, lil_angelkyo, but it's a boy. (Note the use of the word "boku," indicating that the "speaker" is a boy.)
Anyway, I really like this song, although the translation is a little off. I actually wrote a short story based on it. The lyrics start out so cute and innocent, then suddenly take a turn to the darker. Love it! Uh...okay, this isn't going anywhere. I'll shut up now. Promise. </stupid rambling>
Personaly i think its a girl speaker >.> Boku may be used more for boys but girls do use it, especialy in music...(i.e. Shiina Ringo nearly always refers to herself with boku.) You've got the intro and the bit in the middle...I could be wrong (since i havent got the song at the moment to be sure) but in the talking isn't the speaker refered too? and im almost certain its as 'she'.
Meh, it's open to interpretation. (Can't spell today. X_x) I always thought of the kid as a boy, even with the "I'm sorry/I didn't mean it/Whee I'm a creepy British chick!" thingie. (I dunno if that's in the actual album version of the song or if it was an added thing from the site I downloaded it from, but whatever.) Uh...wow, babbling again. X_x bai.
The kid is a girl... in the middle of the song i have, they have a conversation between the mother and the father, with the child crying in the backround and they say things like "shes crying again, will you shut her up?" "every single day, every hour she does this" "listen to her, shes crying!"
