this is ok, not one of their best. if you want cool duran duran covers (and i know you do, you little monkeys) get or download 'hungry like the wolf' by reel big fish or 'the chauffeur' by deftones. neech. anyways, that's what i think...
Blah, such laziness. Way to copy and paste this from the Duran Duran page. Only about half of what's above is in the Jimmy Eat World version. TAKE SOME PRIDE IN YOUR WORK. Nonetheless, this song is excellent.

Duran Duran is the name of an evil villain in the 1968 movie Barbarella starring Jane Fonda. The band liked that it was from a movie (the club they used to play at was called Barbarella too I think) and that it wasn't something many people knew about.
I submitted the lyrics of New Religion to the Duran Duran page just a few days ago so therefore whoever submitted these lyrics wouldn't have gotten them from here.
Jimmy Eat World also does a cover of Heatmiser's "Half Right", which can be found on their latest EP, Stay On My Side Tonight. It's amazing, I recommend you get it.
Also, there is a cover of Wham!'s song "Last Christmas," which is very cool too.
