Obviously at least 3 members of Zepp sold out to the dark lord and Robert is particularly mourful of the sale of his soul after the car crash that nearly took his family (funnily enough Scarlet Page ,Jimmys daughter, was in the same car and unhurt) Robert wants to save his soul, a type of hellhound on my trail thing goin on.

The only problem with the that theory is that Blind Willie Johnson wrote it long before R and J were together.
