Beautiful song. Never thought Jon Bon Jovi could make me fall asleep to his music until now.
Ok, this may sound really pretentious but this song reminds me of me in a relationship I had over a year ago. Like, certian things made me want to keep it a secret, so I didn't want any evidence of our relationship to show e.g: ' She don't want things that she can keep'
I love this song, because of its romantic tone and its underlying dedication (Which I guess is in a way to Dorothea) and the fact that my entire family will listen to it, means that its a song for all music types.
This song is just about loving a woman who you don't really understand at all. shrugs, that simple I guess. The important part is that he loves her even though she confuses him and frustrates him sometimes. And if it is about Dorothea, she'd probably beat the shit out of him if he got to frustrated with her :p.
(Dorothea is a blackbelt and also teaches karate, last time I checked)

I had an ex once like this who couldn't be bought with flowers and dinner but would moan about it if I didnt treat her and take her out. How many girls do us uys know like that?! You women... cant live with you and definitely cannot live without you. This song pretty much sums up an ex for me. To this day she baffles me.
