Probably my favourite Osbourne song. I can only picture fire in the sky one day.
Not sure, obviously someone with some sort of troubled childhood.
I think you also couldve just written the chorus once, and just put "repeat chorus" at the end. LOL
it could be a 3rd person account about ozzy's tumultuous life before he got big
don't get me wrong, this song is good, but the meaning of this song is a thematic rip-off of pink floyd's album "the wall". basically, about a guy who is emotionally wounded in his childhood ad so he shuts himself off behind a mental wall to protect his emotions from everyone else's prying eyes and protect himself from further pain, but over time it starts to fall apart, and he is exposed, whether he likes it or not.
You do realise that you just explained probably more than 40% of what the lyrical world sings about, right? Songs like this are written over and over again by different artists, but that doesn't make them rip-offs. It just means that they, too, have learned of a way to express themselves through a lyrical sense. Look at Dream Theater, Tool/A Perfect Circle, Soilwork, Disturbed and many other bands. Some bands even have more than one song that can seem to be about the same thing. It doesn't make them rip-offs. And if you knew anything or a song meaning, then...

This is another song about Crowely. The "Fire in the Sky" is the English equivalent of the Egyptian Pharaoh's transport at the end of life. The castles, temples, buildings, tents, tabernacles, etc. are universally symbolic of the human body. Crowley believed that he was a Pharaoh that was cheated of his birth rite and death rituals, therefore he was reincarnate to obtain his divine immortality. I know....haha!
