don't get me wrong, this song is good, but the meaning of this song is a thematic rip-off of pink floyd's album "the wall". basically, about a guy who is emotionally wounded in his childhood ad so he shuts himself off behind a mental wall to protect his emotions from everyone else's prying eyes and protect himself from further pain, but over time it starts to fall apart, and he is exposed, whether he likes it or not.
You do realise that you just explained probably more than 40% of what the lyrical world sings about, right? Songs like this are written over and over again by different artists, but that doesn't make them rip-offs. It just means that they, too, have learned of a way to express themselves through a lyrical sense. Look at Dream Theater, Tool/A Perfect Circle, Soilwork, Disturbed and many other bands. Some bands even have more than one song that can seem to be about the same thing. It doesn't make them rip-offs. And if you knew anything or a song meaning, then...

True, Pink Floyd sings about a lot of drug and childhood trauma, but do remember that they aren't the only band that suffered through rough time periods.

@Achory So in 8 lines and a chorus Ozzy told a story that took Pink Floyd a double album to tell.
