I feel it in my fingers
I feel it in my toes
Love that's all around me
And so the feeling grows

It's written on the wind
It's everywhere I go, oh yes it is
So if you really love me
Come on and let it show, oh

You know I love you, I always will
My mind's made up by the way that I feel
There's no beginning, there'll be no end
'Cause on my love you can depend

I see your face before me
As I lay on my bed
I kinda get to thinking
Of all the things you said, oh yes I do

You gave your promise to me and I gave mine to you
I need someone beside me in everything I do
Oh, yes I do

You know I love you, I always will
My mind's made up by the way that I feel
There's no beginning, there'll be no end
'Cause on my love you can depend

I gotta keep it moving

Ooh, it's written in the wind
Oh, everywhere I go, yeah, ooh yeah
So if you really love me, love me, love me
Come on and let it show
Come on and let it show
Come on and let it
Come on and let it
Come on and let it show
Come on and let it show
Come on and let it
Come on and let it
Come on and let it show
Come on and let it show, baby
Come on and let it show

I don't know how long ago, but it was probably around the time that the movie Four Weddings And A Funeral came out, but I decided long ago that this was going to be my wedding song. It's got a great mix of a little bit of everything in it.. A country-ish opening, a good rock backbone, and tender ballad lyrics. I count myself lucky that I didn't have to compromise, as my fiancée agreed to use it for our wedding song.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
