take the life and hold it underwater
wash the hands of all these things i've done
if the body moves inside the closet
then all we do is stare while she's in her underwear
all the eyes on every Sunday paper
pictures of the horrid things i've done
if i didn't act on your addictions
then we couldn't stare while she's in her underwear
wash the hands of all these things i've done
if the body moves inside the closet
then all we do is stare while she's in her underwear
all the eyes on every Sunday paper
pictures of the horrid things i've done
if i didn't act on your addictions
then we couldn't stare while she's in her underwear

Thank you so much for posting this. ;D
This song is about someone who has done alot of crazy things in their life, and everyone always seems to find out about them.
IF you don't have this song, you need to get your bootay to Kazaa and get it. It's jazzy... but much better than sugar pop punk that's out there now... just like Sugarcult. But because Sugarcult rox... and all of that other pop punk... I won't bust. Whoa, I just contradicted myself. Whatever - GO MUSIC!
This is a beautiful and disturbing song. It's about killing someone. Tim Pagnotta wrote it from the point of view of a serial killer/murderer. Not that he is one. :) Listening to it, can't you just picture a dead girl in her underwear? Creepy.
It's such an innocent song, it gives me chills to suddenly realize that this is about murder... Realizing that, since I'd never stopped to think about it (thanks pritty), the whole song kind of takes on this menacing feel. The music and tone of voice is so casual, so apathetic, that it's frightening. Even if the "murder" is a metaphorical one (which I somehow doubt), the insanity of the narrator is all too obvious. I like the way it was played up by the sentence fragments and nonsensical wording.
Wow. I didn't realize that it was about murder - I just thought it was a silly song. That twists its meaning so much.. it's so cool.
I must've listened to this song at least 10 times while driving for an hour tonight in my car. It's one of the best Sugarcult songs I think I've ever heard.
Yes.. and if you turn it up pretty loud in the beginning, you can hear all the screaming and stuff.. That scared the hell out of me one night, lying in bed, listening to someone scream. eep..
damn you analytical people rufined my enjoyment of this song. its so creepy now i listen and just before the second verse is said there are sirens.....
There's not so much wrong with being analytical. It's different being utterly disturbing, though. I guess disturbing songs do that kinda thing to ya
