Every morning there's a halo hangin' from the corner
Of my girlfriend's four-post bed
I know it's not mine but I'll see if I can use it
For the weekend or a one-night stand
Couldn't understand
How to work it out
Once again as predicted, left my broken heart open
And you ripped it out
Something's got me reelin'
Stopped me from believin'
Turn me around again
Said that we can do it
You know I wanna do it again
(Sugar Ray say)
Oh
(Every morning) oh
(Every morning when I wake up)
(Shut the door, baby, don't say a word)
Oh (she always rights the wrong)
Oh (she always rights, she always rights)
(Shut the door, baby, shut the door, baby)
Every morning there's a heartache hanging from the corner
Of my girlfriend's four-post bed
I know it's not mine and I know she thinks she loves me
But I never can believe what she said
Something so deceivin'
When you stop believin'
Turn me around again
Said we couldn't do it
You know I wanna do it again
Oh
(Every morning) oh
(Every morning when I wake up)
(Shut the door, baby, don't say a word)
Oh
(Every morning) oh
(Every morning when I wake up)
(Shut the door, baby, shut the door, baby)
She always rights the wrong
For me, baby
She always rights the wrong
For me
Every morning there's a halo hangin' from the corner
Of my girlfriend's four-post bed
I know it's not mine but I'll see if I can use it
For the weekend or a one-night stand
(Shut the door, baby, don't say a word)
Every morning
Every morning when I wake up
(Shut the door, baby, shut the door, baby)
Every morning
Every morning (turn me around again)
(Shut the door, baby, don't say a word)
Every morning
(Do it again)
Every morning when I wake up
Every morning
(Shut the door, baby, shut the door)
Every morning when I wake up
Of my girlfriend's four-post bed

This song is about a girl cheating on him, but for some reason "somethings got me reeling", he goes back to her, possibly because she keeps seducing him to her "four post bed" but that bed is also used by her other guy "friends", hence the "Halo" and the "Heartache" on her "Four post bed". And the story goes on and on.
I don't believe the "halo" is a condom at all. The halo is strictly symbolic, there is nothing really hanging from her four post bed (just as later in the song there is no heartache hanging there).

The halo hanging there refers to her being naughty, like an Angel has fallen from grace (her escapades in the bed). He understands what the halo symbolizes, so he thinks maybe he can use it to do to someone else what it has done to him.

"something's got me reeling, stopped me from believing" He's stopped believing in her and what the halo represents. "Turn me around again" He wants her to convince him, to make him believe, to stop his head from spinning, because he wants to do it again.

"She always right the wrongs for me" She always convinces him to believe, even if it is only while they are sleeping together.

"Shut the door baby, don't say a word" He wants to continue with his fantasy that she loves and wants him. He wants to believe in her at least for the time being, and let her right the wrongs (convince him and prove it sexually), even though when they aren't doing it, his mind reels and he can't believe her.

"Every Morning there's a heartache hanging from the corner of my girlfriend's four-post bed. I know it's not mine and I know she thinks she loves me but I never can believe what she said." As the halo was hers, the heartache is hers, too. She thinks she loves him so she feels heartache for how she's treated him. That's why she says they can't do it again.

"Something so deceiving, when you STOP believing" (Big mistake in the lyrics posted on this site, it says "when you START believing.) This refers back to the earlier lyrics when he said "something's got me reeling, stopped me from believing." Here, he realizes how deceiving it is to pretend like he believes her, when he really doesn't anymore. He's deceiving himself and her.

"Turn me around again. Said we couldn't do it, You know I wanna do it again" He wants her to take it all away, to turn back the clock, to turn him around again emotionally. And even though he recognizes she said they can't do it anymore, he still wants to. His passion for her is overriding his logic.

That's my take on it.
