| I kinda view this song differently than everyone else. I was abused by my ex and it broke my heart. I can't seem to love someone fully bc of it. But I have someone now who truly loves me and would never hurt me. And my friends say it'll get better cause I won't get hurt anymore. And plus I'm schizophrenic. I used to hear voices and they'd hurt me and never let me forget what he did. But they're gone now. And I'm happier than I was. But I'd listen to love songs just hoping and praying for the one I'd spend the rest of my life with and i finally found him. | |

This song is so meaningful to me!! I can relate so much. I was physically and sexually abused several times and I still to this day have trouble forgiving them. I'm just so bitter and damaged and like the song I feel like the one losing. I'm losing the fight to be free from all this bitterness but I'm asking God to forgive them and for grace to forgive them myself.
